🟩 NEC ARTICLE 680 — SWIMMING POOLS, FOUNTAINS, AND SIMILAR INSTALLATIONS

680.25 Feeders. 

 

These provisions shall apply to any feeder on the supply side of panelboards supplying branch circuits for pool equipment covered in Part II of this article and on the load side of the service equipment or the source of a separately derived system.

 

📘 NEC 680.25 Feeders (피더)

이 조항은 Part II에서 다루는 수영장 장비용 분기회로를 공급하는 패널보드의 공급측(supply side)에 설치되는 모든 피더에 적용됩니다.
이 피더는 서비스 설비(service equipment) 또는 별도로 유도된 시스템의 전원(source) 의 부하측(load side)에 위치합니다.

 

(A) Feeders. 

 

Where feeders are installed in corrosive environments as described in 680.14, the wiring method of that portion of the feeder shall be as required in 680.14(B) or shall be liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit. 

 

Wiring methods installed in corrosive environments as described in 680.14 shall contain an insulated copper equipment grounding conductor sized in accordance with Table 250.122, but not smaller than 12 AWG.

 

🧵 (A) 피더(Feeders)

📌 피더가 부식성 환경(corrosive environments) 에 설치될 경우 (680.14에서 설명한 환경):
해당 구간의 배선 방식은
👉 680.14(B) 에 명시된 방식 또는
👉 액체 침투 방지 비금속 유연 전선관(💧 liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit) 중 하나를 따라야 합니다.

⚠️ 이러한 부식성 환경에 설치되는 배선 방식은
👉 반드시 절연된 동(구리) 접지 도체(insulated copper equipment grounding conductor) 를 포함해야 하며,
👉 이 도체는 표 250.122(Table 250.122) 에 따라 크기를 결정하되, 최소 12 AWG 이상이어야 합니다.

 

 

Where installed in noncorrosive environments, feeders shall comply with the general requirements in Chapter 3. 

 

(B) Aluminum Conduit. 

Aluminum conduit shall not be permitted in the pool area where subject to corrosion.

 

📌 피더가 비부식성 환경(noncorrosive environments) 에 설치될 경우:
👉 3장(Chapter 3)의 일반적인 배선 요구사항을 따라야 합니다.

⚠️ 알루미늄 전선관은 부식에 노출되는 수영장 지역에서는 사용할 수 없습니다.
